Our Charities

Our Fundraising

Since the very first Run Ballybunion, in 2010 we have been kickstarting the Summer Season by bringing crowds to Ballybunion on Easter Weekend.

More importantly, it gives us the opportunity to provide some much needed funds for some amazing local Charities.

Midwest School for the Deaf

Midwest School for the Deaf was founded in 1979 in Limerick, to allow Deaf and Hard of Hearing students with access education without having to travel to residential schools in Dublin.

The school offers:

  • Early Intervention Class
  • Primary School
  • Secondary School

This amazing school is a testament to those that have gone before and without whose fundraising, wouldn’t exist.

However, Midwest School for the Deaf is in dire need of funding to help maintain the standards they have set and to continue to provide the additional supports their students deserve.

A portion of the profits from Run Ballybunion will be shared with Midwest School for the Deaf.
