Welcome

Hi Ladies & Gents

Thank you all for continuing to support Runballybunion since its inception in 2010.
You can collect your number/timing chips and T shirts on Friday evening from 6.00-8.00pm and on Saturday morning from 9.00-12.00 at Kilcooly`s

The races will, as usual start at the Garda Station/Kilcooly`s Country House (V31DR60) at the top of Main St.
The Kids Fun Run will start at 12 Noon
The Adults 5K, 10K & ½ Marathon will start at 1.00pm
There will be pacers on hand for those who would appreciate the assistance
Markers will be placed at 1KM intervals and 1 Mile intervals along the route
The 5K & 10K races are ” Out & Back” along the same route. Marshalls will be on hand at Doon Church to direct runners to the left along the wonderfully scenic Wild Atlantic Way
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the turning point for both the 5K & 10K are not at the exact half way points as the Finish & Start are not at the same point.
There will be signs approaching the turning points. We would kindly ask runners to keep left so that those runners who have already turned can run home safely
Those runners brave enough to run the ½ Marathon will continue straight ahead at the 5K &10K turning points. There will be Marshalls at Craughdarrig to guide runners to the homeward leg.

Medals and water will be available at the finish line.
The Prize-giving will take place as soon as is practicable in Kilcooly`s where complimentary hot food and snacks will be served.

We hope you enjoy the race and the week-end
